Claiming Psalm 2:8

In the recesses of your heart, you must have asked this gift of the Lord:

"Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession."

Once again, we are going forth to claim our inheritance on the shores of India and see the Kingdom expanded here on this earth. I will be traveling with a team from East West Ministries International (www.eastwest.org) lead by the Director of Orphan Ministries. Yes, it is the same Director I have been with on many occasions and in perilous circumstances! I remind you, so you will understand on how much we will NEED you to be actively praying and interceding for the battles we will be engaged in. Three other courageous soldiers will also be bringing down strongholds in Tamil Nadu. This will be the first time to India for each of them.

We will be conducting VBS outreaches in the villages surrounding Batlagundu on Good Friday, Saturday and after the Easter Sunday service. Monday we will travel north up the mountain (pray really hard for me Sunday night before you retire) to Kodaikanal and the orphanage of Redeeming India. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we will be working on repairing and refreshing the orphanage for the 18 baby girls who live there. This includes painting, decorating the walls, sewing curtains, and helping to plow for a new garden to bring a harvest to supplement the food needs of the orphans and their caregivers.

While I am not one to support or encourage the "name it and claim it" version of prayer in regards to personal wealth - I do believe we must call forth the power of the "Name" and "Claim" the territory where we are. He has sent His angels before us to prepare the way, and I can't imagine the warfare occurring in the heavenlies even now. There are 33 million recognized Hindu deities in the unseen realm. BUT, greater is He that is with us than he that is in the world. I am praying, and I ask you to join me, with the words of encouragement God's servant Elisha uttered in 2 Kings 6:16-17:

"Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "those who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed, "O Lord, open his eyes so he may see," Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses, and chariots of fire all around..."

Daily (sometimes we may be needing HOURLY) intercede on behalf of our team, the hundreds of children and villagers we will be ministering to, as well as bringing supernatural comfort to the widow and orphans of Sony Prince, the founder and visionary of Redeeming India (www.redeemingindia.org ).

We are not retreating, we are moving forward aggressively taking the Word to the ends of the earth as He has commanded. You may not be with us physically, but remember the promise of 1 Samuel 30:24:

The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike."

What a glorious inheritance we have been given! The fallow ground needs plowing, the fields need the promise of rain, but what a harvest awaits!

"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:6-15

Smiling, grabbing my field tools and the weapons of war!
